Customs Management CW8/2019

Hi Guys,

Here is an overview of most important latest notes in the area of Customs Management:

CUS – Spain

Transit procedure of customs warehouse products in Spain requires that a declaration item does refer to exactly one CWH receipt. So note 2284251 will ensure that there is just one closing portion per declaration in Spanish transit declaration.

CUS – Swiss

Notes 2281379 and 2281374 address on how to build the Swiss search procedure of transit notification. There were some problems in processing customs inbound message. Mentioned notes provide coding correction and customizing updates to solve this.

CUS – US

For the US ACE there was an error on customs inbound processing too. Here the system issued a rejection with the error ‘F264 MANIFEST QTY CONTAINS NON-NUMERICS’ due to non-numeric quantity specification. Implement note 2284990 to fix this.

Furthermore the incompleteness check on US customs import declaration did not allow you to send an electronic message if you have entered ‘Air’ as the mode of transport at the border. This problem is resolved by note 2276097.

CUS – Processing trade

Note 2279468 corrects the problem that some fields (these are Customs Office Code, Unit of Measure, Country Code, Currency Code, Product Number, Product Name, Model) did not retrieve correct values in data mapping when communication function sends messages to 3rd party.

Another mapping issue, here in context of the Settlement Communication, is fixed with note 2280092. You should implement this if you observe problems in filling of customs office code, value and weight for components and header declaration time.

Whereas note 2284720 ensures that even though one user changes a Business Scope Account(BSA), it is possible for another user to access the same BSA in change mode nevertheless.

Furthermore note 2284720 will ensure that during transfer of Business Scope Account (BSA) or E-Manuals, the information of tariff no. attributes will be transferred as well.

CUS – document processing

Notes 2286206 (document processing) and 2285607 (document processing – user interface) address the completion of a customs warehousing procedure with type C.

Incompleteness check for missing documents wasn’t restrictive enough. Means national documents were only recognized as missing in case category ‘license’ has been maintained. Implementing note 2273982 will ensure that documents of category ‘documents’ arechecked too.
