A data warehouse was created to hold past and present machine data for robust reporting. In addition, a self-contained and robust Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) process was created to convert transactional data into an hourly performance measurement tool. The company is now able to set targets and measure how machines perform against pre-defined and constantly re-evaluated targets by region, county, and plant all the way down to machine level.
