SAP Vocational Training & University Alliances in CEE: SAP VT in Hungary
On 17th of February, SAP and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics set a milestone in developing early talents against the background of our strategy to reinforce SAP skills of Next-Gen.
Markus Bell (SAP Global Head of VT), Máté Bartalos (Head of VT Hungary) and Gabriele Klapper (HR VT) were present to witness this great step of cooperation where the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Dr. László Vajta, signed the contract which will pave the way to spur early talents in their education.
Ádám Dudits (UA Country Manager of CEE, Baltics & Nordics) and Markus Hilken (MD Labs Hungary) were delighted to support the expansion of Vocational Training (VT) Program at SAP to Hungary, which allows participants to work towards their university degree while gaining valuable business experience at the same time. The goal is to build an early talent pipeline with VT students and contribute by growing and training the SAP family.
Currently up to 20 participants will join the Vocational Training per year, a selected number of which will have an opportunity to learn and gather experience in Walldorf as well based on their subject and areas of interest.
At present there are 800+ VT students in the program, working in Germany, India, China, Brazil and Switzerland. Often, these placements can lead to full time work at SAP after graduation!
Congratulations to all parties involved using our synergies from all areas!
