What’s New in SAP Cloud for Analytics – February 2016
Hello! This blog page will cover the new features and enhancements in Cloud for Analytics, as rolled out to customers in the week of February 15, 2016. All features released from January 12, 2016 to February 16, 2016 are covered here, including versions 1.0.32, 1.0.34 and 1.0.36.
Highlights of the new release include (click on links to navigate directly to the topic and screenshots):
- Link together visualizations on a page with page-wide filters (input control) and linked analysis
- Show data behind a visualization
- Export to PDF and create hyperlinks within stories and to external content
- Reports and Stories combined into a single user experience, to create simpler workflows for financial planning and BI
- Improved custom palettes across visualizations, making it easier to apply company style guidelines across your stories
- Geospatial improvements, including custom markers and connecting to point of interest data from Excel or SAP HANA planning models
- Easier financial planning steps with copy and paste to and from Excel, and a Planning Wizard to quickly create and enhance planning models
