    Hi Michael,

What are the data migration tools we can use if we don’t use RDS? RDS requires a Data Services license and I’ve read from an SAP note that LSMW is not the migration tool anymore for 1511 onwards.

    Regards,

    Karl

      Hi Karl,

It depends on the transition scenario you’re planning to execute whether it’s:

      • New Implementation – New or existing customers implementing a new SAP S/4HANA system with initial data load (Data Services)
      • System Conversion: Complete conversion of an existing SAP Business Suite system to SAP S/4HANA (SAP Update Manager with Database Migration Option)
      • Landscape Transformation: consolidation of current SAP Business Suite landscape into one global SAP S/4HANA system (SLT)
