Here is a note about the report RSDDTREX_SINGLE_TABLE_INDEX.
1789310 - How to run report RSDDTREX_SINGLE_TABLE_INDEX
At BW 7.3 or higher, we can reindex every type of table, S/X/Y/T/P, by running the report.
But at BW 7.0, it does not work like it is at BW 7.3.
We can reindex S table by running the report directly. Index of X and Y table is rebuild with S table index rebuilding.
In other words, we can not reindex X and Y table directly.
Then, may be you want to know how to rebuild index of F and D table, which is not mentioned by the note at all.
Since we cannot rebuild index by running the report directly, we can do it by steps below. It is only valid for BW 7.3 or higher, by the way.
1, Find the cube at RSDDB and Click button "Delete"
2, At option "Do you want to delete master data indexes that are not required any more?" click button No
3, Click button "Create"
4, Click button "Activate and Fill BWA Index"
5, At Start Time pop-up click button "Immediate" and button "Save"
At last, let us talk about E table.
Actually, at BWA/BIA, it does not distinguish F and E table.
That means, we only can see a index of F table at BWA/BIA side, which contains index of both E and F table.
