This is my blog to share the success of our “SAP VIRTUAL CUSTOMER COLLABORATION PROGRAM

Recently we (GSC India Sybase product support team),delivered the first ever virtual coffee corner session to our Indian customers to throw light about our support policies, benefits they get and other basic technical information on Sybase ASE. Since many customers of Sybase are new to SAP and our policies/processes, we always wanted to deliver this session to educate and bring awareness on these topics. The feedback we received from them at the end was outstanding which surely motivates us to evolve and to deliver much more such sessions in future for our customers

Planning :
         It was those brainstorming days, we planned the session to be both process & technical involving the CIC team who can talk about the Support processes and support offerings, then customers were finalised based on the incident frequency they raise. and followed up to get their confirmation to attend this session, finally an hour slot was fixed and invites send to interested customers

         Shridhar Kalyanpur started the session by welcoming the Customers, Jyothi B Mayya from CIC team, explained about the Support Offering.
Gaurav who spoke about Knowledge Management and its benefits(SCN, Wiki),my turn was to talk about Social Media (Facebook, Twitter), Remote Supportability tools, Diagnostic tools, PAM and ASE Road Map, Sankara explained new features of ASE 16.0, and upcoming releases and “sybdiag” and much more.

Feedback Collection:
        a)  As we invited good customer base and we wanted to know pros and cons of the session how it went, we requested to take the Survey/Poll below which was flashed after                  the session for them to answer.
       b)  The questions were about how the session went and If this will be helpful for them. Customers responded positively and requested to continue these kind of sessions in                    future. Based on the feedback, this session was “GRAND SUCCESS” and encouraged us a lot.

To conclude, although its a s big write-up, the gist is very simple – We have delivered a successful virtually interactive session to the customer which came out very well.
