With 2016 well underway, it’s time to announce just a few of our new openSAP courses to keep you up to date with SAP’s latest solutions!

For those of you with an interest in developing software on SAP HANA, you’ll be happy to see a new delta course for SAP HANA Support Pack Stack (SPS) 11. SAP HANA SPS 11 was released in Q4, 2015 and this course, Software Development on SAP HANA (Delta SPS 11), will bring you up to date with the newest features, focusing on an overview of the new architecture and the various expanded capabilities that SPS 11 makes possible.

Here are just some features now available with SPS 11:

  • Benefit from extended scalability and a broader support of programming languages. SAP HANA Extended Application
  • Server (XS) can now scale independently from database services allowing you to optimize the use of system resources and ensure optimal applicat
    ion performance.
  • Your choice of programming languages has also been expanded since XS can now support JAVA on Apache TomEE or JavaScript on Node.js, allowing you to architect your applications using microservices, for greater flexibility.
  • Take advantage of standard tools to leverage your existing expertise and expedite development. SAP HANA SAP 11 adds support for open source code management tools such as Git, GitHub and Maven.


Software Development on SAP HANA (Delta SPS 11) starts March 2, is just 3-4 hours effort in total, and will be open for five weeks.


Implementation Made Simple for SAP SuccessFactors Solutions is also new to openSAP and will help you understand the concept and value proposition of rapid-deployment solutions for SAP SuccessFactors. The course instructors will walk you through how to access and apply best practices for the HR line of business, such as SAP SuccessFactors core HR with Employee Central, Payroll, and Talent Management Suite. The course will go through each module and provide you with an overview and guide on how to rapidly implement and use your SAP SuccessFactors solution.

You’ll also meet an SAP partner who uses SAP SuccessFactors Rapid Deployment solutions to implement new SAP SuccessFactors solutions. The course instructors will walk you through how to access and apply best practices for the HR line of business, such as SAP SuccessFactors core HR with Employee

Central, Payroll, and Talent Management Suite.

Implementation Made Simple for SAP SuccessFactors Solutions begins March 9 and runs over a four week period.
