I am fully convinced that we are still not using fully the Information Systems technology.

We must recognize that the planning and implementation of the Information System, in line with expectations presented during all stages of the project, are very important.

However, the operational stability of the Information System should also be considered a critical point because it is the tool that supports important decisions in the various functions of society.

For example: if the information system of the Stock Exchange of an economically important country in the global scenario presents undue numbers to investors, all investment decisions can have disastrous consequences.

And, if the messages sent via WhatsApp began to arrive for the undue recipients, chaos would be installed.

So, when we have the spread of a technology for decision-making in all functions of a society, it is imperative the involvement with the risk management of operational continuity: vital signs should always be monitored by the key performance indicators.

Without them, what are the Information Systems?

They will are mere administrative tools to satisfy egos and they won't support the agreed results.
