SAP Technology & Career Day at Novgorod State University Meeting with regional authorities and business community
On November 5th – 6th, 2015 SAP University Alliances in CIS region conducted a number of activities and meetings in Novgorod State University. Within the framework of the special project «Professional orientation», which has been started at the beginning of 2015, Igor Belousov, SAP University Alliances Country Manager for Russia/CIS, held an open lecture «IT Career Navigator» to 225 pupils, students, professors of Novgorod State University, high schools and colleges of Novgorod Region. The presentation on variety of IT professions and career opportunities, required competencies and skills, ways of further training and development, aroused great interest of the audience.
The conducted activities resulted in reaching an agreement between SAP and Novgorod State University on joining SAP University Alliances in Q1 2016, as well as on cooperation with regional government for IT professional training improvement and regional IT industry development.
