Best Ever – SAP Inside Track Istanbul 2015 – It’s a wrap
First of all I should mention that it is an honour for me to being part of this organization and community.
Briefly, it was 5th this year and held in Sehir University.
So we keep saying that this is best ever, why? I think the main cause, we did well promotion this year and our community meet-up’s made this possible.
In our first meeting we had less people, then grew with every single meet-up.
Also we tried a new way; notified periodically by e-mails those who register from eventbrite. Thus, 84 community members attended out of 122 registration.

Lets quickly look into agenda,
Abdulbasit Gulsen welcomed us and explained what is Inside Track and what offers to community.
Then he shared his knowledge about latest news and updates about SAP’s UX Strategy.
Then Serkan Ozcan took place on the stage and he talked about SAP Splash and Build (User Experience as a Service) which is presented at TechEd.
After some networking Sarhan Polatates talked about S/4 HANA transformation story without the need for slides.
Just after, Ugur Candan took place and in the strict sense he rocked!
Talked about what SAP is doing in the field of Genomics and how personalized medicine is empowered by SAP HANA in different use cases.
Until now we learned a lot of things and got hungry.
Delicious sandwiches were waiting for us with Tahir Öz‘s organization.
Then my colleague Tahir Öz appeared on the scene and showed us how HCI can talk with cloud and on-premise systems.

Now it was my turn. I made a small scenario; took temperature sensor data from raspberry pi and pushed the data to HCP IoT Services, then monitored the sensor data with a fiori app.
Thanks to Rui Nogueira and his IoT blog series 🙂
After getting some fresh air(!) 🙂 Mehmet Gök continued; talked about new industrial revolution, the Industry 4.0.
Last session was ‘Abap on Hana’. Tolga POLAT showed us some sample codes written on hana system.
Everybody was interested in a lot, because most of the participants consisted of ABAPers 🙂
Time to wrap-up,
Finally this years InnoJam team was on the stage (team windrose), and Beste Şahin Polat shared our InnoJam and TechEd experience.
And the awaited moment, Raffle Time!
Thanks to our sponsors, we gave powerbanks and books to the winners.
This time, to make it more exciting, I made a small raffle app. See the video 🙂
Here is all the slides, link.
BTW, this is my favourite tweet outlining the event 🙂
End of the day, best thing was the smiling faces. Many thanks to Abdulbasit Gulsen to made this possible and his mentorship.
And of course we had an after-event dinner 🙂
Congrats! Looks like a fantastic event! 🙂
