SAP SuccessFactors Android app gets complete overhaul and brings HR closer to your people

I’m really excited about the launch of our redesigned SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app for Android. It has been in the making for quite some time, and it is an important milestone for us for several reasons:

1. Instead of incremental changes to the previous version we decided to switch gears and bring the Android app to a whole new level in terms of user experience and capabilities (more on that later).
2. With this new release, we made the look and feel consistent with our acclaimed app for iOS. This is especially important for customers who provide their employees the choice between an iOS or Android smartphone, and those with a BYOD (bring-your-own-device) policy in place. No matter which OS, the mobile experience is always the same.
3. And most notably, it’s a significant milestone because it shows that we at SAP SuccessFactors are walking the talk. When we say ‘Success Is Simply Human’ we truly mean it – by delivering innovations to our customers’ end users that make them more successful. And while we’ve invested heavily into this new app, it was not because there’s any immediate financial ROI – the app is available for free on Google Play (as is the iOS app on Apple App Store). We did so because we believe that engaged employees = extraordinary results. And by providing your people an intuitive mobile alternative to get their most-needed HR-related tasks done, we’re helping to achieve this goal.

All in one place, the home screen is your launch pad to all areas of the application such as time-off requests and other employee self-services, approvals and other manager self-services, goal management, learning, workforce analytics, manager team view, company directory and org charts, Touchbase, SAP Jam and many more.
