Revenue Recognition: Quick-Start for IFRS 15 is now available
Packaging service content while working with customers is challenging for consultants’ schedules, but it is also the best recipe to build the most accurate accelerators, so we made it. After some months of configuration on our test systems, packaging, transport into another system, testing, documentation, etc., our Quick-Start Implementation service of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting has now been released. Using this engineered service, we deploy in 2 weeks a preconfiguration so that baseline scenarios run and will facilitate blueprinting. Testing, knowledge transfer, documents and test scripts are all part of the package, which is like a mini Rapid-Deployment Solution.
This service can be deployed on SAP ERP (ECC 6.0 EHP 5 SP10) or on S/4HANA (on-premise edition 1511) or on Suite on HANA. We deployed it for SAP Concur and got this feedback: “A big thank you for your perfect work. This really helps a lot and I just have to complete and adjust the configuration for the data from SAP Hybris Billing”. To benefit from this quick-start too, please get in touch with your SAP Services contact or me at laurence.nicolas@sap.com.
Hello, I have to implement Revenue Accounting and i have already done the configuration, but i would like to have some examples of how it loks like the revenue accounting integrated with SD. Do you have some documents with those examples or a BBP that you can share it? Thak you!
Such examples are included in the deployment of the Quick-start described here; if you hire SAP Services to deploy it, you will have them. Otherwise, there is information on this integration on the Help portal (https://help.sap.com/revacc_10) and on SAP Learning Hub (SAP Learning Hub).
This service is now available on RAR 1.2 (in addition to RAR 1.1) and includes configuration and tests for cost recognition.
This service is available on premise or on HEC.
This service just "impressed" another customer where we deployed it. We are now completing its validation on RAR 1.3, expanding its scope at the same time.
