What are you passionate about at SAP? I am passionate about humanizing technology for our clients. For 40 years, SAP has led the enterprise applications market and re-invented itself several times. The current transformation is perhaps the most critically important one. Being able to play a role in driving strategically important topics is what keeps me energized on a daily basis. Driving discussions from the perspective of key stakeholders in solving diverse problems for clients is invigorating.
What’s your favorite thing about working at SAP? My favorite thing about SAP is the opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries to solve their problems in different domains. What’s your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby is to learn from the best minds of past and present and the way I do this is by reading books they have written. Not only do I get to increase my knowledge, but also appreciate the intellect and dedication these people have for the field of their expertise.
What’s one bucket list item? I intend to write at least one book before I depart from this world. One of the primary topics that I care deeply about is about finding meaning in life. In my book, I intend to explore questions such as: What is the purpose of our existence? Why have we been given consciousness? Does our superior cognitive abilities serve some purpose beyond fulfilling our materialistic and biological desires? Do our limited faculties enable us to answer questions beyond the observable realities? Are we being blind-sided by hubris of our intellect, which is inherently limited?
