We have successfully conducted SAP Inside Track Tokyo 2015. This is the first time having SAP Inside Track in Japan.

Organizing an event is a big task by just one SAP Mentor. I asked SAP GPO:( Global Partner Operation) team to organize event because most of SCN members in Japan are partner consultants. We had good teamwork with GPO and I could focus on designing contents.

Date: 2015-11-24 to 2015-11-27 for 4 days at evening 18:30-20:30.

Place: Tokyo/Japan. SAP Japan office

Session language: Japanese

Background:

SCN members in Japan have several challenges for adopting new technologies/solutions to customers in Japan.

+ Language challenge

+ Geolocation/Timezone challenge

+ In general, conservative business background

+ No SAP Labs development in Japan

What SAP Mentor can help?

I designed SAP Inside Track as a mini TechEd and shared the latest technologies to SCN members in Japan.

We also made promotion that SCN members joined SAP TechEd and directly took sessions and hands-on. Total 48 SCN members in Japan joined SAP TechEd this year. 6 of SCN members provided a session in SAP Inside Track Tokyo.

Session highlights:

Day 1: HANA and Analytics

Keynote highlight byTakashi Naito. Good summary of keynote sessions.
