DTW Error unknown!-1005

Hi Everyone,

Here is a little blog, when we try to update a UDO via DTW and you get the next Error Unknown!-1005.

Well, this is caused because DTW is based on XML structures, it cannot parse XML tags involving spaces and brackets. UDO names including spaces an brackets cannot be handled by DTW. You must not incluide spaces or brackets when you name the UDO, otherwise the issue will appear.

To change it open SAP Business One ->Customization Tools->Objects Registration Wizard->Update an existing object. Choose the UDO and press Next, then change the Name field to one word and finish the wizard.

This will solve the issue.

      One more thing, run the DTW as Administrator. It ever works fine when do that.
