If you want MRP in SAP ERP, you can carry out an Available-To-Promise (ATP) availability check in the business transaction in SAP CRM using SAP R/3.

In ECC system use transaction code BF31

In SAP ECC you must activate the business transaction events (BTEs) for Availability Check Using SAP ERP. To set this indicator in SAP ECC:

Use transaction FIBF (SAP Business Framework: Business Transaction Events), Choose Settings> Identification> SAP applications.

Or,    Integration with Other SAP Components > Advanced Planning and Optimization > Basic Settings for the Data Transfer > Change Transfer > Activate Online Transfer Using BTE

Enter the following data:

Appl. Active Text
CRMATP Select this checkbox R/3 ATP check called by CRM Server

InSAP ECC the material should not be relevant for availability check with SAP APO.

In CRM Enterprise

In CRM Enterprise you change the setting to availability check using SAP R/3 in the IMG for Customer Relationship Management under Basic Functions > Availability Check > Availability Check Using SAP R/3 > Define Middleware Parameters: Availability Check Using SAP R/3.

Alternatively,

Transaction code - SM30

Enter table name - SMOFPARSFA

When you carry out availability check using SAP R/3, the system Transfers requirements to production or purchasing, Reserves stock, carries out scheduling for  delivery and transportation

SAP ECC transfers the results of the availability check back to the business transaction in CRM Enterprise.
