Configuration Steps in Netweaver Portal 7.3 to Connected 3rd Party Systems (SQL/Teradata. Etc.)

                           Configuration Steps in NWA to Connected 3rd Party Systems (MYSQL/Teradata. Etc.)


Configuration Management—->  Infrastructure—->  Click on “Application Resource.”

Click on New JDBC Drivers

Browse the “sqljdbc4.jar” file & deploy. If connected to Teradata will use Teradata related Jar files.


Create “New JDBC Custom DataSource Creation”

Click on “New JDBC Custom Data Source Creation”


Will provided these information “Driver Class Name”, “Database URL”, “username” and “password’ under “Setting” tab.

Provide required information under “Connection Pooling” tab.

Provide required information under “Additional Properties” tab. If required.

Add Resource name under “Antecedent JDBC Driver” tab.

Add new alias name under “Dependent Data Source Aliases” tab

Finally we will use this alias name into our WD-JAVA/EJB application.
