Insert sensor data in real time

Hi Community!

Is it possible to insert/integrate sensor data (pressure, temperature) in real time from the production (unit) into SAP Business by Design?

Could you explain me how does it work?

With SAP Plant Connectivity?

I know how SPS works and also ERP, but i don´t know how the integration by internet works. I think on programming language.

Want to create scenarios eg: min – max, if max than maintenance, in case of failure repair etc.

For my study i have to create a case how could it work and i will be happy if somone from you could help me.
