SAP Community events: Interview with organizers from three different countries

TL;DR: The video is only 14 minutes long. So, please just watch it 🙂

At SAP TechEd 2015 in Barcelona I had a pleasure to discuss the topic of community events with Twan van den Broek, Martin Steinberg and Gareth Ryan: how they got involved, what their experience so far has been, and what they recommend those who are planning community events like SAP Inside Track for the first time.

Here is the recording:

I hope you enjoyed and found it informative! Links: how to organize SAP Inside Tack, and how to organize SAP CodeJam.

Thanks for bringing my question to the stage. Looks like it is simple to organize SIT, you just need to do it as Gareth Ryan said. 😉

Based on my experience it is better to start with meetups (1-2 hours every [second] month) to build the community and then to organize the bigger event as Inside Track.

This is at least how I approached it: http://www.meetup.com/Wroclaw-SAP-Community-Meetup/ --> to get from SAP Inside Track Wroclaw 2013 - Community Events - SCN Wiki (with 3 registrants) to SAP Inside Track Wroclaw 2015 - Community Events - SCN Wiki (with 55 registrants).
