The first SAPUI5 CodeJam hosted by company Cadaxo took place on November the 5th, in Vienna. Our topic was SAPUI5. Trying out and playing around with XML und Javascript. It was awesome! In a cool and casual atmosphere developers showed up to develop and have fun together – who wouldn’t like that!
Quite a variety of interested people showed up on this event. Most of them were quite new to this topic and some participants already had experience with SAPUI5.
Our SAP Expert was denise.nepraunig.sap. She traveled all the way from Waldorf, Germany to guide us on this topic. She mastered her task superbly. A nice Getting Started for the beginners, with a short introduction of the WebIDE, the developing environment for SAPUI5 Apps and some tutorials for playing around.

Lunchtime!
We had nice fingerfood, partly also traditional Viennese food – of course not without the “Wiener Schnitzel”.
Luckily during exercises we also had time for some fun!
Denise was everywhere around to help out, when someone was stuck in the exercise. She supported all participants. Also the one with advanced SAPUI5 knowledge didn’t missed out. Denise was available for all questions.
At the end of the day we all had a closer look into this topic and concluded satisfied the evening with some wine and beer.
