HI All,

In my previous blog i have covered about HANA CLIENT TOOL, ODBC and DESIGN STUDIO.

Now in this blog i am going to cover below topics,


SAP LUMIRA

SAP ANALYSIS OFFICE

SAP TABELAU


SAP LUMIRA: Media


Login into SAP Service Market place and download the SAP LUMIRA

INSTALLATION: Run the setup file with run as administrator rights,

  Installation setup is started

Click Next tab


    Click Next tab


Click Next tab



Click finish tab.Installation completed successfully.

Connecting SAP HANA using SAP LUMIRA

Open Sap Lumira,


Go to File --> New (Create a new database)

Select connect to SAP HANA One


Click on Next, provide necessary credentials.


Click Connect Tab,Now select the necessary table.


    Click next tab


Click on Create tab,Here we can view the Tables which in HANA.


SAP ANALYSIS OFFICE: MEDIA


Login into SAP Service Market place and download the SAP ANALYSIS OFFICE.


INSTALLATION: Run the setup file with run as administrator rights,

Below screen appears,

To complete the installation successfully , we need to install Microsoft Office 2013 (64 bit) or Microsoft Office 2010 (64 bit) and  Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 tools for Office run time.So, I have installed relevant   Microsoft Office , Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and click on Next.

Installation process will start..


Installation completed successfully.

    Connecting HANA using Analysis 2.0 office


Go to Analysis Tab --> click on Insert Data source --> select Data source


below screen appears,


Click on skip to avoid the connection to SAP BO system.

In Analysis Office ->Insert Data Source->Right click in Select data source dialog and select "Create SAP New HANA Connection"

Then it displays Below dialog, Just give sufficient details

Fill Below details :

Description : System Name

Select HTTP

Give valid Host name

Port Should be 80xx(xx-instance number)

click on Create button/Create and Logon

Here we will provide necessary credentials and move forward.

Now ,we are able connect HANA successfully.


SAP TABELAU:

Download the tableau from below link

http://www.tableau.com/products/desktop/download?os=windows

INSTALLATION:

Run the setup file with run as administrator rights


Tick the license agreement and click on Install tab.

Enter the product key and activate the Tableau.

Connecting SAP HANA using Tableau

From here Go to --> More servers -->SAP HANA -->provide user credentials to connect SAP HANA.

Connected to SAP HANA successfully.

This will end the TOOLS TO CONNECT HANA DATABASE installation and connection part.
