The SMART Idea Competition of SMARTLabs China, organized and sponsored by Labs China Strategy & Management team, was held on September 25 among 12 competing teams of vocational training students from four top universities namely Fudan University, Tongji University, Nanjing University and South-East University, with topics of SMARTXpress, SMARTSpace and SMARTCanteen and objectives to incubate talent by leveraging IoT technology.
The 12 teams presented their fresh ideas and inspiring proposals in vivid forms, demonstrating their enthusiasms and their IT expertise. It’s a good opportunity for these energetic students to understand the innovative intrepreneurship culture of Labs China, contribute to it, and transform from students to real SAP developers.
Voice from Students and the Jury:
“Innovation is everywhere in labs China. My group was impressed by the innovation culture here. The victory is the beginning of our journey in SAP!”
Jury member Nicolas Ledercq (Program Lead) and Phipps Xue (Sponsor of SMARTLabs China) were very excited to see students’ ideas and very much appreciated the work they have done. They believed that to understand the real demand of users was a very important step before developers start to innovate, as desirability, feasibility and viability are the three key aspects for innovation.
SMARTLabs China will take some of the proposals into consideration in the overall transformation planning of Labs China in the coming up years to make our Shanghai campus RUN SIMPLE and RUN SMART.
