What does HCI, Rat Verlegh and Breda Beer have in common?

Well, not so much. But these three thing were ingredients of a successful get-together; the SAP HCI CodeJam. Friday 30 October a group of thirty HCI enthusiasts gathered in the famous Rat Verlegh stadium, the home of soccer club N.A.C. Breda. After a nice lunch we started with a warm welcome by Guido Koopmann and Igor Mitrovic  from Proxcellence who organised this CodeJam with SAP.
Then Udo Paltzer, product manager SAP HCI, came up to the stage to tell us all about the current developments on HCI. What are the latest enhancement and what can we expect in the upcoming months. Once again Udo made sure that all participants were getting more and more into HCI.

Hands on HCI

After the presentations it was time to get on with HCI ourselves. There was a nice scenario prepared where we were expected to retrieve order data, via SOAP, from a Magento server. We used Content modifiers, request-reply and multiple receivers to make it happen.

If you want to know the details of the iFLow I recommend you keep an eye on the SAP CodeJam SCN page for upcoming events so you can experience HCI yourself!

The alert readers of this blog are missing the third ingredient I mentioned at the beginning; the Breda beer. This was presented as a gift to all attendees because Breda beer is the most consumed beer in the Rat Verlegh stadium and they wanted us to know why. Just as the CodeJam, the beer was excellent!

I’m looking forward to the next HCI CodeJam!
