SAP brought its forefront IoT/Industrie 4.0, Smart Traffic solutions etc. to the 11th China (Nanjing) International Software Products& Information Service Trade Fair (CISExpo) on September 2. Clas Neumann, SVP, Head of Global SAP Labs Network and Fast Growth Market Strategy Group, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech on the International Symposium on China “Internet +” Intelligent Manufacturing.

After the opening ceremony, high level government officials such as Huang Lixin, Member of Jiangsu Provincial Standing Committee, Xu Nanping, Vice-Governor of Jiangsu Province, Chen Wei, Director of the Software Department of MIIT, Miao Ruilin, Mayor of Nanjing, and Huang Lan, Vice Mayor of Nanjing visited SAP’s booth. Clas introduced SAP’s latest innovations like IoT/Industrie 4.0 solutions, SAP Smart Traffic, etc., to them.

With the rapid development of technologies and applications such as cloud computing, IoT, and Smart City, the concept of “Internet+” sparks a new wave of change in traditional industries in China. On the International Symposium on China’s ‘Internet Plus’ and Intelligent Equipment, Clas gave profound analysis and insights on how digital technologies like cloud computing, big data and IoT/Industrie 4.0 influence the manufacturing industry, in his speech “Digitalization – The Foundation of ‘Made in China 2025’.”

It’s the fourth year that SAP attends CISExpo. Besides SAP Smart Traffic, we also brought other forefront solutions of SAP to visitors and guests on the fair, including SAP Connected Manufacturing and Predictive Maintenance and Service under Industrie 4.0 scenario, SAP Smart Warehousing, and SAP Smart Glasses, attracting Xinhua News Agency and other media to interview.
