SAP TechED Vegas 2015 just got over. It was fun filled, techiest and one of the best TechED conferences I have attended. Thevenue of Venetian, one of the finest Italy theme resort in Vegas strip, was awesome! Casinos have one of the advance analytics system running, so the venue is perfect for a conference like TechED. I had loads of fun networking and learning with peers and colleague.
ASUG Pre-Conference SAP Design Studio Workshop
I was in ASUS pre-conference workshop on Best Practices for Dashboard Design with SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio presented along with ihilgefort and tammy.powlas The workshop was full with lot of people learning about SAP Design Studio best practices and how to build better Dashboards. It was an interactive session with hands-on exercises and the attendees learned how to use Design Studio effectively.
Digital is the key to awesomeness.
The Keynote by steve.lucas2 was all about going Digital and how Enterprise can ride on the next Digital wave using SAP Digital core. The special “timely” appearance by Jim McKelvey was awesome. It was an all-around Digital keynote and even included a live Amazon Echo demo. I was so impressed with Echo and would love to get my hands on one of those soon.

Topic Leader 2015 for SAP Lumira
I am happy to share that I was recognised as Topic Leader 2015 for SAP BusinessObjects Lumira in TechED. The entire experience here was great and I was happy to meet other community people and SCN contributors. And, I have to say that it was pretty awesome seeing my name on the big board along with other great minds. Looking forward to write more blogs and contribute to the community.
Catching up with the mentors.
I had a good networking sessions with the SAP Mentors and also participated in Catch a Mentor and Know a Mentor Missions. The Mentors were really friendly and everyone welcomed with a warm smile on their face. They are the pillars behind the SCN community and inspires the newcomers to do more.
I was also lucky enough to win Tickets to “O” by Cirque du Soleil and went to the show along with my buddy bhupindersingh. Thank you jason.cao for the Tickets. It was a great show and if you have not seen it, be sure to do so on your next visit to Vegas.

The influence sessions were also very good. david.stocker product roadmap was great and I never fail to meet him at every TechED.
My company, Visual BI Solutions also had an exhibit booth showcasing our advanced extensions for SAP Design Studio http://visualbi.com/sap-design-studio/dsx-extensions/ and SAP Lumira Location Analytics in SAP Lumira. Lots of people came by to visit us and were impressed by our extensions. I had a chance to meet and interact with lot of attendees including some friends from SAP like matt.lloyd ,raghuraman.ramakrishnan and mbensan. It was nice to meet and interact with you guys.
