See – that’s the trouble with time travel.  The future is always here before you know it!  At least that’s what I learned from Marty McFly.  And so, as the Community Advocate for the HR Community in ASUG, I’ve been plotting out a journey to the future for our members since I joined ASUG full-time back in March. 


We’re not your father’s skateboard. We’re not even #BacktotheFuture’s hover board.  That is, we’re not your average “users’ group.”  We’re on a path to Recharge HR

For 25 years, ASUG members have been helping each other solve the day-to-day challenges of running SAP, have been giving back to SAP through our members’ insight and participation in influence opportunities, have been making rock stars out of each other by giving each other the answers to tough questions.  We still do that. Quite well, in fact.


Today we’re also answering a different challenge:  how do I move my business to the future?  And the conversation is not just for HR and HRIT leaders.  If PEOPLE are our most important assets, this conversation is for every business leader.  I’ve been talking about this on my own Twitter account (@sherryannemeyer), @RechargeHR and via a LinkedIn Group Recharge HR!

We here on SCN — the SAP and SuccessFactors advocates — have some answers in the technology we know and love.  But getting others — our CxOs, our decision-makers, our paradigm-lovers – to see the possibilities for thriving in the future — THAT’S the education we, at ASUG want to provide.  How are we doing?

    Great post, Sherry. Full of passion and good sense as only you can write.

    We all in Tech have been speaking of HR Transformations, but there is much more than technology in that – there is in fact the very heart of every company, of every corporation, waiting to step into the future – and it is already here.
