SAP Screen Personas 3.0 to start beta testing on SAP Kernel 7.22

Many of the customers running SAP Screen Personas 2.0 have requested an easy way to migrate to SAP Screen Personas 3.0. While SAP Screen Personas 3.0 offers a convenient migration tool, until now, version 3.0 required SAP Kernel 7.42, which in turn requires NetWeaver 7.40. Now, we are starting an early adoption program for selected customers to run SAP Screen Personas on SAP Kernel 7.22 in a non-production environment.

We will start the beta program when SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP02 becomes available (planned for later this quarter). We strongly recommend you provision a separate sandbox system to avoid disruption to your current SAP landscape.

Please note:

• We are starting a waiting list for customers who want to try SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP02 on SAP Kernel 7.22
• SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP01 is only supported on kernel 7.42 PL200 or higher (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2175479)
• SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP00 was supported only during ramp-up and active support will end with the release so SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP02 (https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2050838)
