In case you missed the news, SAP just released its results for 2015 thus far. Check out one of the highlights:

"Customer adoption of SAP HANA continues to surge on the back of high demand for our new digital core solution SAP S/4HANA. SAP S/4HANA’s robust early traction continues with more than 1,300 SAP S/4HANA customers by the end of the third quarter across all industries and regions..."

Not just that, but the trend so far here at SAP TechEd 2015 in Las Vegas is all about the power and potential of #sapinmemory, #hana, and #cloud. So by way of quick recap, let's put it all together: SAP S/4HANA is short for SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA and is SAP’s next generation business suite. It is fully architected to leverage the most advanced in-memory platform, SAP HANA, and has been designed with modern design principles: the SAP Fiori user experience (UX). You can get started with it in the cloud, on-premise, or in a hybrid environment.

But with all this choice, what's the best way to get started quickly? Should you start fresh, convert, transition? And even then, is cloud or on-premise the better way to go? This is where SAP Activate comes into play. Think of it as your personal trainer in a state-of-the-art gym. We like to call it the S/4HANA innovation adoption framework. It's a combination of SAP Best Practices, methodology, and guided configuration to expedite your SAP S/4HANA implementation. As an experience, it's embedded directly into S/4HANA (get started with a free trial here) or, if you're not quite ready to go to the gym, you can get started with it outside of SAP S/4HANA (see here for the Best Practices and here for the methodology).

Still not convinced? We've put together a short paper on SAP Activate that goes through the S/4HANA journey and outlines how SAP Activate works to help you get there. You can download it directly here or check it out via SlideShare. Last but not least, be sure to bookmark sap.com/activate as your destination for further news and updates related to S/4HANA implementation.

And for those of you at TechEd, come visit us at pods SS8 (SAP Best Practices: Your Path to the Cloud) and SS9 (SAP Activate: Your Path to SAP S/4HANA) across from the Fiori cafe. We're here to answer your questions about SAP Activate and SAP Best Practices for the cloud, user experience, data migration, integration, etc. etc. And even if you're not at TechEd 2015 in Vegas, don't let that stop you!
