Seeburger Certification issue

Hi Guys,

Seeburger have clarified some points regarding the German Telekom plans to renew the certificate for Secure P7/X400 on 13. October 2015. Please see below information:

Root CA remains unchanged, but that a new sub-CA (TeleSec ServerPass CA 2) is used, which is signed with SHA256, and also the new host certificate will be signed with SHA256.

BIS6:

Please check Configuration –> Adapters –> X.400-P7 –> Connections –> TCP

1. 1. If you use TLS Trust Model: “Certificate authority-based” nothing must be changed.

1. 2. If you use Trust Model: “Direct” the new certificate must be used:

The new certificate will be downloaded from BIS6 automatically, you will find this in KeystoreManager

“Pending for check” move this into “Trusted” area.

Check or modify the TLS-X400 connection settings regarding the new certificate.

BIS5:

For BIS5 we have created a hotfix for easy installation. The hotfix can be requested from SEEBURGER via SAP Support

Then the new certificate will automatically be used without any further actions.
