    Hi Thierry,

Nice article and a great place to start for first timers. I have a few questions. Can you please answer them.

    1. How much does it cost to deploy Predictive Services in a Production environment?
    2. Can I use the HCP trial (the Europe trial version) to do a Proof of Concept project?
    3. Will I be charged on a hourly basis like PAYG or fixed monthly basis?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Pavan.

    Hi Pavan

In addition to the cost of your cloud account, you have to subscribe to the predictive services. This is a monthly cost and it depends on the size of the database. Contact a sales representative who will give proposals corresponding to your needs.

The SAP Cloud Platform trial is free but with limitations. In particular you cannot use it for productive usage. Note that the SAP Cloud Platform Predicitve service is also available on trial.

I hope this answer to your questions.

    Best regards

    Thierry

Is there somewhere in the other guides (not comment section) where this is stated?

I make it a personal policy not to read comments sections, and when I have to read the comments section, I take it with a lot of skepticism.
