Offering the best-in-class Trial experience in SAP Digital for Customer Engagement (D4C)
SAP is breaking new ground by offering a whole new way for customers to try out its digital software. We recognize that going digital is more than accepting credit card payment online – It means re-thinking how you design and offer products and services to customers. One of the initiatives we have undertaken in the Digital transformation journey is offering a best-in-class trial experience. According to a 2012 Totango SaaS benchmark survey of 550 B2B SaaS companies, 44% offer a free online trial and 41% offer a 30 day free trial. If you are in the digital software business and not offering a free trial – you may want to re-think your digital strategy.
Ok so you got a 30 day free online trial but what makes the SAP D4C trial experience unique?

Hi Karthik,
Nice blog... But how do you get the free trial for this. I always login to www.sapstore.com/d4c and from there i will not be able to check out any trial version.
Can you brief on from where to check out the free trial.
Best Regards,
Azaz
Hi Azaz,
Thank you. Keep in mind that SAP Store is available only in certain countries. We are working on making the free trial available in more countries.
If you are in a supported country, you should be able to see this,

Karthik
Hi Karthik ,
I was about to say better late than never. Then I read your statement it is not available in all countries. While I might not be "capable" to understand the same , can you check if your competitors also follow the same policy ? As far as salesforce.com and zoho are concerned , its not the same. I have test piloted them as an individual and have run the same for a month.Strangely SAP decides to it the old fashioned way.Trust me this would be a major roadblock for real digital for customer engagement.

Footnote : I was able to raise a request and I am awaiting email confirmation to run this.
Hi Kavindra,
Thanks for signing up for the D4C trial. As we want to offer the same trial experience globally , it is being launched in phases.

Karthik
