I am looking forward to hosting the best practices session I have previously announced.

I have been working with SAP PI/PRO for over 10 years, and have learned quite a bit about what to do when it comes to integration. For over a decade, I have been working with consultants and users from all over the world.

There is quite a number of dos and don’ts – you must know these so that you don’t fall into the same traps as other people who have already made certain mistakes.

The largest issue is that there is no 100% effective best practice, which works in all considerations. You must know what the limits are, and when to implement one or another best practice.

There is a series on my blog that will cover some of the topics presented here.

I will be covering the following topics:

  • best practices
  • developer guidelines
  • documentation
  • skills
  • landscape
  • support
  • custom development
  • B2B

I will be covering some of the mapping patterns that can help with certain mapping issues you might encounter. If you don’t follow them, you may end up having issues with contexts in your mappings. I have seen situations in which people have not been following the guidelines, and this has caused a deficient understanding of what was happening. Sometimes it can take a long time to identify that there is an issue with the contexts.

See you on Thursday, the 22nd of October 2015, between 08:00 a.m. and 09:00 a.m. at the San Polo 3503 meeting room in Las Vegas.
You can find the session at the agenda builder.
