INDUS Regional Conference North was scheduled for 7th of October 2015 at Eros International Hotel, New Delhi. The event started with a welcome speech from Mr. Vijay Sethi, CIO - Hero MotoCorp and also one of the INDUS Board member. Mr. Sethi started with his welcome note by providing a glimpse to the past, wherein the SAP India office was located in the same location (Eros International) and Hero MotoCorp office used to be just opposite to the building. He remembered the long lasting relationship and support from SAP and also did recollect how the Indian User Group has played a vital role.
Mr. Sethi started his talk by providing credit to Mukesh Gupta for building the INDUS group to 1020 members. He mentioned different areas where SAP has been supportive and how INDUS has actively facilitated the programs amongst its members.

Mr. Sethi emphasized on the need for influence on SAP products and how customers could play a vital role in grooming the SAP products to the business needs. He did recommend all members to connect via Influence SAP Software Development to be able to make use of services available for use.

The event was followed by Key Note from Vipul Sabharwal, Luminous Technologies India. Mr. Sabharwal, initiated his talk with the essence of connecting the dots between the technologies and business to empower smooth and easy flow of transactions and for efficient ROI. He did cite instances from his business (real world) on the way SAP has influenced the business and how Luminous has grown multi folds across boundaries by their innovation and by making use of Internet of Things.

The panel discussion format was much appreciated by the participants and found it a good way to enable active involvement from the participants. The discussions also gave food for thought for participants to record the best practice followed during the implementation of product.

The event progressed to the closure with topics of discussion on SAP Support services, which had Mr. Deepak Agarwal, GM - Indian Oil Corporation Limited and UmaRani, Head of IMS - SAP Labs India in the panel members. Mr. Deepak did provide a elaborated list of services and support delivered by SAP and how Indian Oil Corporation has been a front-runner in adopting these services. Mr. Deepak appreciated the efforts and service support provided by SAP and how different services like EGI, Early Watch reports, SAP Solution Manager Dashboards and monitoring capabilities have helped their business run better and has impacted in efficient ROI.
Mr.Deepak appreciated on regular webinars conducted, which is helping them to understand the upcoming roadmap for all products.
The event ended with a Thank you note and by collecting feedback for the sessions and for the overall event.
