UA France has been invited by EM Normandie to animate a design thinking session. This session took place on the 14th of september in Caen.

This session is part of the global IT program for 20 students and was linked to a Business Case for “la Banque Alimentaire”.   La Banque alimentaire is a hunanitarian organisation in charge of collecting funds and food in order to redistribute it to poor people.

Before the session, the client had explained to the students how they work, how they are organized and some of their pain points, particularly on logistic or following of the volunteers.

Objective of the project is to build a mobile application (with Hana Cloud Platform) in order to increase the customer efficiency and understand the business requirements. The students will create all the concept before the next phase BUILD that will be realized by Caen engineers (Caen University).

The session was animated with 2 members of Simplon organization who helped a lot on coaching the students during the different phases of the workshop. Thanks to our colleague Thomas DUBREUIL, we could also present the tool BUILD in order to help the students during the blueprint phase of the project.

In this context, students will regularly work with the partner in order to finalize their project of application. Duration of the initial phase of the project is 2 weeks before the jury.

SAP UA together with Engineering school of Caen University, EM Normandie and Banque Alimentaire are jury members to choose the 2 best applications that will be made by engineers.
