In collaboration with the Deutsche Schule Pretoria (DSP), SAP University Alliances (SAP UA) will be facilitating a Design Thinking workshop on 31 October 2015.
The aim of the workshop is to expose learners to Design Thinking for coming up with creative problem solving. The challenge will use the design of a motor vehicle and the challenges that surround the vehicle-manufacturing industry as as a means of demonstrating Design Thinking methods. This process of rapid ideation and prototyping will allow learners to find innovative and creative ways to solve the proposed challenge. The students will be between the ages of 10 and 14. They are all part of the Gifted Learners Program at DSP.
Learners will be exposed to various techniques that form part of the Design Thinking process such as observations, sketching, paper and physical prototyping. The session will run from 9:00 am (CAT) till 13:00pm.
