Many dream to work with a global team and interact with people from across the seas. Many more dream of travelling abroad for work at least for a small portion of their career. But at SAP, this dream is a reality for at least 15 young professionals each year, thanks to the Global HR Early Talent Program.

12 Nationalities based out of 8 locations, these young talents are part of a one-year program that provides them with a view through the looking glass at the different HR careers available at SAP. The one-year program has three rotations through the 3 functional areas of HR at SAP  (Human Resource Business Partner, Centre of Excellence and Global Service Delivery) of which the participants work abroad for one of the rotations.

This year, the program kick-started on 7th April in Walldorf with 15 new talents eager to begin their career at SAP. Their motto “Together.Diverse.Curious”, resonates in the work they do each day. Although spread across the globe, the team connects regularly once a month for a virtual team meeting. Participants also connect 1:1 with their counterparts in the program to catch up, learn about diverse cultures and most importantly, get assistance with day-to-day tasks.

We have often heard the saying, “your network is your net worth” and these talents leverage this global network they have made to learn as much as they can during this program. Being halfway into the program, these talents have been very resourceful in their teams and we’re certain that they are bound to have a successful career in Human Resources at SAP.
