This document explains very basic details for the troubleshooting when we create the CHARM project.
Problems:-
1.
No active transport tracks in QGM for project Z_XXXXXXX
Trouble shooting
Your transport routes play an important role for CHARM and hence check and maintain client dependent routes accordingly.
From development you will be creating the route to quality system, you must need to create the CLIENT SPECIFIC routes in CHARM.
Further information as below
2. Logical component
Logical components are important, make sure that role type of the logical component should be fine. This is very simple example here, but sometimes we have 4 systems landscape for charm in that case make sure the there should be Source systems/Production systems and two should be target systems for the quality/UAT/Integration test systems etc.
Important: - Many times we will create our own type of system roles and then we will assign in LMDB, but we see the synchronization between SMSY and LMDB is not proper.
2169250 - Different role types for logical components between LMDB and SMSY
Further it is always better to perform the consistency checks from the logical component
3. RFC authorizations
Most of the times RFC’s authorizations are not working fine. You may receive error as
“No authorizations to login as trusted system (L-RC=1, RC=1)
Make sure you have the authorizations for S_RFCACL, S_RFC_TT
Further check in SMT1 the destination maintained and you may need to recreate the entry in SMT1 for that particular managed system. You have to recreate the TRUSTED rfc in the solman setup /managed system configuration for that issue.
Further, you must consider below notes for your applicable systems as you need to migrate your underlying RFC infrastructure
