Chris said to check your Visa, depending on where you travel

Rich Heilman said that SAP “TechEd Bangalore is not happening in the spring/2016, but might be rescheduled for fall of 2016 to align with the others”

Check your travel insurance

Chris said to check to ensure you are going to the right destination – Orange County California vs Florida

Tell your credit card company that you are traveling; you don’t want your credit denied.

Another mentor shared: “Good to know: your passport needs to be valid up to 3 months after the end of the trip in Europe”

Cancellations will happen

Be respectful; bring things to keep you occupied

Interact with others; there is a lot of content.  Split up the sessions if you are going with a team.  I print out my agenda, but another Mentor suggested saving it to the phone.

Walk the show floor; not everyone is out for a hard sell, said Chris

Other tips:

1. Pay it forward and share your experience here on SCN

2. Attend ASUG sessions for real-world experience

3. SAP TechEd is “Like a family”

4. Will be able to scan badges QR code

Question & Answer:

Q: Will there be an Enterprise Geeks dinner?

A: Nothing official planned, perhaps go to the buffet at the Wynn

Take a look at last year’s SAP Fiori Jam Band – see Calling All Musicians/Singers coming to SAP TechEd in Las Vegas (& soon Barcelona)
