Students of PSG College of Technology at SAP Labs, 7 September 2015

It was “almost” exactly 1 year back on 12 September 2014, when we had hosted around 50 students at SAP Labs Bangalore. On 7th September we had the pleasure of hosting 55 students and 2 professors who had come to Bangalore to learn more about the many companies thriving in Bangalore. The students were eager to learn about the businesses and technologies that the company engaged.

Here is the blog summarizing what happened last year – PSG College of Technology students visiting SAP Labs on 12 September 2014

This year we prepared the agenda to cover

1. The SAP Corporate Profile

2. Deep dive in to Analytics and SAP Lumira

3. Data Genius IV Contest

4. Internet of Things – #MindsOpenNow

The great deep dive into Business Intelligence/ Analytics by Muthuram Govindrasu from SAP Labs really helped us to roll out the ongoing competition called Data Genius IV. You can learn and take part in the contest by click the hyperlink you just passed :-).

This was followed by a beautiful presentation by Manu DK and Jaideep Rao from SAP Labs on the topic Internet of Things via a presentation titled “Minds Open Now”. They were able to demonstrate the amazing technologies and projects we are involved in such as “Connected Cars”, SAP Predictive Maintenance using drones, future of work using Google Glass…

What a nice event! A great job was done there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to participate in it but at least I can see the report from there.
