Over the past few years, a development group based at SAP Labs Israel has been working on a new product which facilitates the daily activities of every driver on the road. With the growth in cloud technology and worldwide collaboration, this new product establishes a network that allows the easy selling and consumption of services, such as fueling and parking, in a seamless way. Integrated with the driver’s mobile or car device, the driver can consume these services without having to open his/her wallet.

The SAP Vehicles Network is a B2B network solution that facilitates connections between automotive manufacturers and various suppliers, such as on/off-street parking and fueling providers. This network enables the automotive manufacturers and service providers to leverage SAP Vehicles Network services in their applications, delivering a vehicle centric experience for the driver. Based on SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAP Vehicles Network is helping cross-industry businesses to accelerate their product delivery and establish new business models and revenue streams.

In a recent demo, SAP Vehicles Network showed the capabilities currently available. On a mobile or car device, the driver can locate the closest available parking and fueling locations. By selecting a specific location, the driver can view additional options available at the locations, such as food or valet parking.
