Nice solution Harry. Just wondering if there's a way to changing the server name based of dev, qa and production when you transport these tiles through the environments? I'm trying to think of a way around this but can't...
Hi Benjamin,
Create HTTP Connections to ABAP System to ECC system with help of your Basis team in your landscape.Transport or manually create system alias in each system DEV/QAS/PRD and point to different system e.g.
ERP_HTTPS-DEV
ERP_HTTPS-QTY
ERP_HTTPS-PRD
Assign system alias. Please reward points for useful answers.

After upgrade to SAP_UI 7.50 SP01 + SAPUI5 Client lib 1.32.9 it stopped working - the tile s opens a new window/tab again.
Hello Harinder,
I have integrated the ECC GUI from Fiori Launch pad successfully. In LPD_Cust while creating application i have selected the GUI for HTML so its opening the ECC t code on webpage but if i select GUI for windows then it does not initiate SAP GUI client (Windows GUI) here also it displays T. Code over page only.
If you have any idea about this then kindly let me know.

Hello Hari,
this example assumes an embedded system, are there additional parameters which can be passed in the URL where it uses hub system thus using RFC or HTTP connection to adjacent SAP systems?
Hi Guys
I am trying to launch a Webdynpro Abap Application That was created on out HR Back end system ( which works on our portal system)
https://Servername:8443/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ZHRUNIFORM
I see that the screenshot parameter above for "APPLICATION TYPE" is url .. For Webdynpro . should this not be "WEB Dynpro Abap".
I however don't get the Application parameter "URL" if I change it to Application type "URL"
Can anyone please assist.
Need help

Unless you are asking for clarification/correction of some part of the Document, please create a new Discussion marked as a Question. The Comments section of a Blog (or Document) is not the right vehicle for asking questions as the results are not easily searchable. Once your issue is solved, a Discussion with the solution (and marked with Correct Answer) makes the results visible to others experiencing a similar problem. If a blog or document is related, put in a link. Read the Getting Started documents (link at the top right) including the Rules of Engagement.
NOTE: Getting the link is easy enough for both the author and Blog. Simply MouseOver the item, Right Click, and select Copy Shortcut. Paste it into your Discussion. You can also click on the url after pasting. Click on the A to expand the options and select T (on the right) to Auto-Title the url.
