The first of its kind, the “Sustainability & Business Innovation” course is being repeated. Last year over 13,000 people from 45 countries took part in the initial course. In this course you will learn the links between sustainability and innovation, how IT can help create competitive advantage, reduce risk and cost as well as drive growth leveraging sustainable principles. Eventually, our objective is to help you succeed in articulating, embedding and executing a sustainable strategy at the company in which you are or will be working.
This course covers key lessons learned from the sustainability journey of SAP and its customers.
- How sustainability drives innovation and growth, creates competitive advantage, and reduces risk and cost
- How to articulate, embed and execute a sustainable strategy at an organization
- How to build successful business cases for sustainability initiatives
Looking at global events such as the draught in California, the European Refugee challenge and the revived push for climate change action by local governments leading up to COP21, this course is increasingly relevant to students and professionals alike. It explains how organizations increasingly embrace sustainable strategies, business cases, and business processes due to consumer, customer, regulator and investor pressures.
