No need to implement own coding when merging accounts enhanced with the Application Enhancement Tool (AET)

There are two facts that didn’t like each other too much…

Fact No. 1: Many customers merge accounts in SAP CRM; with that they use BUPA_CLEAR.

Fact No. 2: All customers enhance accounts.

A great tool for enhancing accounts is the well-known Application Enhancement Tool (AET). But so far merging of accounts that were enhanced with AET too often meant quite a big and surprising burden for the customers: Own coding was necessary to consider such enhancement also during merge.

This burden is gone now.

Just check out SAP Note 2104164 and apply it.
