SAP Labs Latin America promotes customer engagement with 5th Virtual Forum for Mexican companies

The fifth edition of the HCM virtual forum for Mexican companies took place on July 9th this year, having PepsiCo as our local host once again. Over 40 different customers were on-site and more than 85 participated online in this amazing event, organized by colleagues from HCM Globalization Services in Brazil, together with Hugo Rodriguez – Local Product Manager at SAP Mexico.

The HCM development team from Brazil shared information about recent topics of the localization scope like important corrections, as well as clarified customers’ questions. Francisco Hernández and Reyna Lezama from Mexico talked about the SAP Reference Program and SAP Learning Hub, which offer many benefits and are a great way for customers to leverage their day-to-day business. Ezkía Quijada from Germany presented the innovation topic Payroll Control Center (PCC), which is a new concept for dealing with payroll processes, and quickly captured everybody’s interest. Besides that, customers PepsiCo and ITESM shared both inspiring and challenging success stories with other customers and openly discussed their achievements and lessons learned.

Finally and most importantly, the announcement of the re-activation of the ASUG (Americas’ SAP Users’ Group) for HCM Mexico was done to all the participant customers. This was one of our main goals for HCM MX since we started organizing the virtual forums. The most interesting part of this outstanding achievement in terms of customer ecosystem improvement is that in order for us as product team to influence the customers to create the ASUG MX we did not “pressure to create an ASUG”, but rather “showed them the value of having an ASUG”. The interaction between customers proved so important in the virtual forum that this influenced after some years the re-opening of ASUG for HCM MX.

The event has proven to be a unique opportunity to leverage cooperation. Based on the success and high level of satisfaction from both sides, SAP is looking forward to bringing on the next edition!
