Kimberly-Clark Concludes Implementation Of New SAP Warehouse Management System
Kimberly-Clark, a US corporation producing products for the healthcare, personal, professional, and industrial hygiene sectors, has concluded the implementation of its new SAP Warehouse Management System. In 2010, the company opened a high-tech plant in Stupino, near Moscow – one of its
largest factories in the world. Many warehouse operations were initially performed manually, which led to the decision to introduce an integrated
information system. Searching for a solution, Kimberly-Clark was guided by existing successful experience with a number of solutions by SAP, including SAP ERP, which made SAP EWM, which contains a complete set of necessary functions for the effective management of a modern high-tech warehouse, the logical choice.
