User’s Experiencing Session Timeout in UWL

Overview :

UWL session gets timed out automatically after some idle time. On clicking on any workitem after some time it throws an error “400 Session Timeout“. The Universal Worklist operates with default configuration

Environment :

• EP Release Independent SAP Net Weaver

Solution :

Correct value needs to be set for the parameter “Timeout Value for the Connected Systems” as per your requirement.

To change the above parameter following steps needs to be followed :

1. Login to the portal
2. Navigate to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow (Expand)
3. Universal Worklist – Administration -> Open the Tray for the Optional UWL Service Configuration
4. Se the require value for Timeout Value for the Connected Systems, in Seconds

Note :- The value that is given should to be in seconds.
