Overview :

This document gives us information on identifying the largest table according to their size, record count , delta record size and other important parameters.

Process:


Large tables can be identified using the following step :


1. Go to T code: DB02 and click on “Large tables” section under System Information.

Large tables in the system will be shown as below:

2. Different Parameter to Sort the data on:


The result can also be sorted based on different parameters such as memory size in main ,memory size in Total and others as shown in the below.


A.  Based on Memory Size Column Table in Delta:


B.  Based on Memory Size in Row Table (2nd Tab) in Allocated Partition Size:


They can also be sorted based on the below highlighted selection.



C. Disk Size(3rd Tab)

The third tab gives us information of the disk size of all the table.

They also can be sorted based on  the highlighted parameters.
