Earlier this year, openSAP hosted Software Development on SAP HANA (Delta SPS 09), a follow up course to the popular courses, Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA and Next Steps in Software Development on SAP HANA. Over 100,000 people have learned to develop native applications on SAP HANA through openSAP since 2013. With SAP HANA SPS 09, released in November 2014, many development tools and languages used when performing SAP HANA development have been added and extended. Due to popular demand, we’re happy to announce that we are reopening Software Development on SAP HANA (Delta SPS 09), starting September 15.

The purpose of this course is to enable developers to get up to date with the new development features on SPS 09 without disruption. New development features include:

  • New XSJS Database Interface
  • New Core XSJS APIsopenSAP_hana3_Web.jpg
  • New XSODATA Features
  • SQLScript
  • XS Admin Tools
  • SAP HANA Test Tools
  • Core Data Services
  • XSDS (XS Data Services)
  • SAP HANA REST API
  • SAP River
  • SAP HANA Web-based Development Workbench
  • SAP HANA Studio

The course will focus on the new and improved features that are available with SPS 09. It is recommended that participants should have already taken part in the original software development on SAP HANA courses prior to taking part in this course. The course will be presented Thomas Jung and Rich Heilman once again. If you haven’t previously completed the software development on SAP HANA courses but would like to get started, it’s not too late to sign up and take the courses in self-paced mode.
