Which Algorithm to use? Let Model Compare Show you

First I reviewed this Exponential Regression. It says “Exponential regression can be used to find an equation that best fits the relationship between a group of random variables”.  I found some banking data from Amazon, shown below:

Since the data is in a .CSV file, I have several algorithms available:

Which one to use? Predictive 2.2 has a model compare feature.

I followed the SAP Analytics video to set up the rest of the model compare:

This is how my model comparison looks:

The start next to Exponential regression model shows that is the “favorite” model over the R-exponential model

The algorithm also shows the SAP exponential regression algorithm has a higher score over the R-exponential algorithm:

There will be times where you will want to use the R-model or import a custom R model, but in this example, the SAP algorithm is preferred.
